Shadows Of Dragonholde

Evil has reared it's ugly head once more. The infinite has chosen it's champion, it's time to push back the darkness. The Primordials are looking for a way back onto Zurus and it's up to you to put a stop to it. At the behest of the mystical Allseer, travel to all corners of the world to find a way to stop evil from taking the world once again.

Choose from 3 unique classes with distinct abilities:

Elementalist

A young Gol on a pilgrimage from Dest to meet the tide lords of Galwich. Purge the battlefield with such skills as Infernal Maelstrom, Chain Lightning, and Impale.

Gladiator

 A fierce warrior from the arenas on Rhone turned mercenary. Cleave your way through the armies of Evil with skills like Blade Flurry, Retiarius Stab, and Ground Slam.

Trapper

A disgraced sea hunter, the trapper hopes to regain his former status and title. Balance the odds with traps, gadgets, and machines.

Enchant your abilities to enhance them with different effects. Choose from a large range of enchantments from multiple projectiles to special casting conditions. Take your abilities to new heights.

Auras

Augment your abilities into auras using the Aura enchantment. Auras transform the ability into a passive effect costing a resource %.

Buildcrafting

Each class comes with it's own unique passive tree that helps the character evolve into an evil slaying machine.

⛏️ Mining ⛏️

Mine rocks for minerals, gems, and ores. Use these resources in other professions.

 ⚒️Smithing ⚒️

Create powerful custom armour, tools, and weapons. Choose tag influences and purchase powerful modifiers. Upgrade your smithing stations to enhance the skill and become the ultimate craftsman.

🎣 Fishing 🎣

Kickback, relax, and catch some fish. Collect fish, rare resources, or loot crafting materials. Use the fish in the cooking skill.

🍖 Cooking 🍖

Sauté your way to culinary mastery by using ingredients found from slaying evil or fishing them up. Perfect your recipe with certain seasonings to enhance your favourite dishes to grant unique effects.

🌿 Herbalism 🌿

Collect rare and mysterious herbs throughout the world and use them in the creation of flasks and potions. (Reworking into full farming skill post-launch)

🧪 Potionology 🧪

Brew your way to success with a huge selection of flasks and potions for any occasion. Ranging from combat flasks to profession potions. Use the herbs from Herbalism and secondary ingredients from around the world.

🪓 Woodcutting 🪓

Don your axe and start swinging. Deforest Zurus and collect logs, special potionology reagents, and insects. Use logs in the whittling profession.

💎 Jewelcrafting 💎

(Coming post launch) Create luxury jewelry items such as: Teleport stones: items that allow you to teleport to certain locations around the world. Equipment gems: Enhance your equipment with socketed gems that increase stats. Passive jewels: Find rare recipes to create unique jewels that can be slotted into the passive tree.

✨ Devotion ✨

(Coming post launch) Gather Praeva essence by defeating enemies. Sacrifice your essence to alters throughout Zurus to gain devotion. Activate special effects that enhance your play through. Recharge at these special alters or through flasks.

🪵 Whittling 🪵

(Coming post launch) Transform your logs into rare and intricate idols or totems. Equip them and gain powerful build defining effects

🧵 Tailoring 🧵

(Coming post launch) Create the most wonderful Capes and Gloves. Influence tags and apply chosen modifiers through the tailoring profession.

🐉 Monster Hunting 🐉

(Coming post launch) Take on contracts from special hunt masters throughout the world to embark on dangerous monster hunts. Track the beast and defeat it for unique resources to craft things like unique gems, unique idols, or unique equipment recipes.

Collect powerful loot from enemies and use that loot to defeat more powerful enemies. But what if your new sword is only a magic item, but you want to upgrade it to rare?  In Shadows of Dragonholde you can do just that! Collect crafting items from fallen enemies to curate your favourite loot. Upgrade it all the way from common to legendary with a single rare item. Fill all modifier slots, or roll the dice and remove them one by one.

Don't forget about unique items! Unique items come with 5 modifiers. As many as all 5 of them could be unique to the item, whereas some might only come with 1. Unique items can be aquired throughout Zurus, but Artefacts can only be found from special unique bosses and challenges.

Praeva Rifts are end game combat content in SoD. Collect runes from fallen enemies to open rifts to distant lands through time and space. Take your runes to the corresponding alter to activate it. Runes come with their own rarity, level, enemy density, and modifiers. Power your way through the timeways to fulfil your destiny and protect Zurus.

Quests & Exploration

Quests are your form of story progression through SoD. But you will also find lots of side-quests to do that reward things like skill experience, unique recipes, tools, or currencies. Learn about the lore of a town or area through its quests and find unique stories as you explore.

Build, explore, experiment - and uncover the truth behind the Allseer's plan.

Shadows of Dragonholde is currently in Early Alpha.
This demo showcases core systems and early content, but the game is not finished, and a lot of content is still in development. Expect bugs, unpolished areas, and placeholder content.
